What Is Coming Next: A Note on the Future of Enso

Enso Bodywork will be closing in early December 2026.

I want to explain why, because the people who have come through this practice deserve more than a brief announcement.

What this chapter has been

For much of my adult life I have been travelling and living alongside different indigenous cultures. That time has shaped me more than anything else. What I witnessed, learned, and absorbed in those communities sits at a level of the body that anatomy alone cannot map. These practices are broadly described as shamanic healing traditions, though that word carries more baggage than it deserves.

This has always been my core. The question has always been how to bring it into a form that others could access.

Three years ago, I immersed myself in Traditional Chinese Medicine through the practice of Shiatsu, and later Raynor naturopathic bodywork. That chapter was not incidental. TCM gave me a precise and ancient language for understanding the body as an energetic system. Raynor gave me the tools to work at depth through the connective tissue, the breath, and the places the body has learned to guard. Together they sharpened something in me that needed sharpening. They were a necessary part of the journey, and I am genuinely grateful for what they have opened.

I have supported people through pain, through recovery, through seasons of their lives that were difficult to navigate. Some went deep. Some came once and I never saw them again. We receive what we need when we need it, and not always in the form we expect.

What is coming

What I want to offer now is a practice where all of that comes together. Where the physical, the energetic, and the aspects of a human being that sit beyond both are held in the same space. Where the work is not organised around a modality but around what the person in front of me actually needs.

Everything I have learned through Shiatsu and Raynor will still be present. It will simply be used at a different depth, in service of something that has been waiting longer.

What this means practically

ENSO Bodywork will continue operating as it is until early December. If you have been considering booking, that window is still open. Sessions between now and December will be the same quality of work you have come to expect, and I will be fully present for every one of them.

For those who feel drawn to what comes next, I will be sharing more through the newsletter as it takes shape. The new practice does not have a name yet. It will find one.
